Differences between II, Rebellion & Trinity

I only ever played Trinity, many years ago. Funnily enough, it is still available to me through Stardock's old online storefront (along with Demigod lol).

I didn't get Rebellion, because it didn't really look all that much of an advance over Trinity. I'm probably wrong.

I was wondering if anyone could outline the main advances of the game from Trinity to Rebellion to II?

Rebellion split the 3 factions in pairs of 2. And added Titan class ships. It's DLC added stuff like minor factions, and more planets.

Sins 2 has almost everything from Rebellion+DLC but reworks it. And added Planetary orbits/rotation.

Good write-up Včeli.

I forget really that this has been out on the EPIC store for 2 years now. You'd expect some of the negatives (Capital Ship strength etc) to be "fixed" by now.

May wait for a sale.

Idk how much big the early access on EPIC was and what issues they solved.. The game is in verz good shape as far as performance and stability goes.

I would also mention there is already couple mods that can alreadz address some issues .. just started exploring those.
