Galaxy Skybox?

I noticed that the background skybox remains unchanged in scale while zooming in and out from close up view to planetary map.
Will this be resolved at release?
It really breaks the game realism immersion of space and gameplay. Perhaps a three tier levels transition would solve the visual anomaly of the unchanged skybox.
