I still enjoy this better.
But I was atoning for sins of the past.
This game has a rewind function and made obtaining characters easier. I have input problems with this version but the rewind function at least helps mitigate it.
The new re-release of SVC Chaos was made to be exactly like the AES version assuming most people want arcade perfect versions but now people are complaining.
I think they should have made some more improvements on SVC Chaos' rerelease. They should at least put in save states if not rewind like most emulated releases are now nowadays. It would have neutralized the current complaints on not reaching the right boss and getting an ending, limited continues and so forth.
