How do I find a Pirate Navigator ?
I have two quests from a long time ago that need me to find Pirate Navigators. One to kill three, of which I got 2; the other to get a Golden Sextant. I don't remember where I got the quests. I no longer seem to be running into the Navigators. I have searched quite a few islands with the red and gold trees, and the ones with green and gold trees. I'm about level 42. Anyone have hints on how I can get back on track with these quests ?

Pirate navigator are just a pirate npc type, found on green + yellow treed islands.

The 'kill three navigators' one is from the mission board, an can be turned in via mailbox.
I don't really remember the other one, but I suspect it from one of the quest lines (sea scholars, maybe?). :wwpirate:

Look at your map after using the sextant and 'mark' the island. Then click on the island and it will tell you what kind of island it is.

You should be looking for 'Pirate islands' and once there you should look for the big pirate camp. Search enough of them and you will eventually find the pirate navigators since they are sort of rare.

Thanks. I didn't realize that the map told me the name of the type, that'll help. I guess I'm worried that I must be near the area that I got the quest in.

It is an infinite world so there are no restrictions on distance from the quest giver. In fact 'any' of the same type of quest giver on 'any' island will accept completion of the quest.

If it is a mail in quest, any mailbox will accept the quest completion.

Good job! :)

Some of those quests are very difficult to do unless you know where to find the entity you have to take out. Before the Redwood islands I always had trouble with the bear quests.
