Can't buy certain things from the vendors?

So I've got almost 2 gold on my character, and I'm trying to outright buy a mailbox and some recipes that cost 10 silver, 50 silver, etc.

I've bought 1 and 2 silver things from vendors, no problem; but when I try to buy the mailbox(10 s) or the better ship recipes/schematics; it comes up "Not enough money" effectively.

I've got plenty of money, so is this a reputation issue and it just says "Not enough money", or are these items true value not in silver, but in gold(10 g, 50g, etc)?

When I mouse over the cost in the store, it says '10 silver', '20 silver', '50 silver', etc. And the icon matches my silver icon in the top right; but I'm sitting on almost 2 gold and just can't buy these higher end items.

Am I missing something here, or is my game bugged? Known issue maybe?

It would also help if you post a picture of your screen with the error message when you report the bug.

You might be looking at the merchant's coin. In the top right, that is the merchant's money amount. It should have their name above it. In the top left is your coin amount.

Ah, you are absolutely correct; I was looking at the vendor's currency. That's what I get for playing a new game for the first time late at night.
