Can I select a scene without losing my save?

I started this game yesterday with a friend and I would like to know if I can select a scene from the main menu without losing our progress, because I want to read the articles and comments on Mark's mobile phone, but I didn't want my friend to get bored while I was reading all of that, so I want to read them myself to get more insight about what is happening in the rest of the world, but I fear that if I select a scene, our progress will be lost.

having same question. Just started to pla game and there was few very funny scenes I want to make screenshot of. But not sure if I can select completed scene, will that change my main save file? Or can I finish selected scene and then continue my game?

Maybe its wise to backup the savefile first?
just hit winkey+r to run to: %appdata%\Until Then\
copy the savegame.res and savegame.res.bak to the desktop or a other folder to backup just in case.

You guys probably got the answer to your question by testing already, but for anyone reading this: You should not have any issues. Your progress is saved via access to the scenes, and booting up a previous scene shouldn't erase progress.

hey guys, i just finished the game and if i tap on continue, nothing happens. So i tap on return to main screen and now all chapters appear with all their names and titles but i can't pick the one i want to play. It makes me start all over, all game from the very start. I thought once finished, the game i mean, i could choose from where to start and continue. Anyone knows this??

If you finished the first ending you need to play the whole game again for the second time which might look like the same but it will be very different from your first playthrough the longer you play it basically the game needs to be played 3 times throughout chapter 1 to 5 and you are on a 1/3 progress
