Crashing during the first rain scene

Has anyone else experienced the game crashing during the first raining scene outside the store?

On my first playthrough, I had to do it about 5 times to get through the scene as it kept crashing as the hands went out in the rain.

I'm on my second playthrough now, and I literally can't get past this scene this time around. I've tried about 8 times and every time it just crashes back to windows :(

Wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and found something that helped?

There are few scenes that are very calcul intesive and this is one of them. You can try lowering your graphics, have the game in windowed (smaller window to render) and if your GPU has recent updates that could eventually help too

On my side I had no issue there but the bus return after getting at Nicole's old house for the first time made me have a lot of computer auto restart. Only went away after updating my GPU driver even if it had only few months old drivers. An other moment was difficult too for me but can't remember which

I'm running a 4090 so I can't imagine it's a gpu maxing out issue. I've also done driver updates etc too.

I'll give it a go dropping all the settings and making a tiny window just to get through the scene. It's really sad because I want to play through it but I just can't right now. Very frustrating!
