For folks needing copium with the Final Ending

They both ended up in TADHANA Cafe in the epilogue. "Tadhana" is "Destiny" in Filipino.

The thing about Filipino popular media is that stories about destined love always end up in happy endings (unless one of the main characters die). When Filipino movies want to show two people moving on from one another, they will always end with both parties looking and acknowledging each other's presence, smiling at one another, and then walking away (or going back to talking with their other dates) and this didn't happen in the final shot.

The ending shows that Mark isn't lucky in finding the right one (4th date attempt), shows that Nicole is likely single and actively looking for love (she's riding at the backseat alone hinting that she's going on a meetup date rather than meeting a bf), and most importantly, shows that the both of them could easily bump into each other in this lifetime. This, to me, strongly hints that they are going to end up back together as it is with destined love.

Anyway, hope that gives folks their needed copium closure!

A jar of cookies for eating but not by who, but at the same time no one will get mad if you took cookies from it.

In the end, its your choice whether you want to believe in a happy ending or not (take the cookie or leave it alone) and it'll all be perfectly fine.

As a Filipino, I am highly inclined to believe that they end up with one another because Filipino pop media thrives in cliches and feel-good-moments, especially when themes about destiny are involved

What are you guys talking about? What cafe? The game ended when Mark and Nicole moved in. Then, after the credits, the game restarted. But some key things were different. Are you saying I have to play through the entire game a second time to get a different ending?

I really needed this man. I was excited at the end when I thought they were going to meet and didn't know what to feel when the ending wasn't what I was expecting. Still loved the game very much though.

I imagine she gets up to leave and Mark chatting with his date with a coffee in his hand walking back to his table bumps into Nicole spilling coffee all over her and ruins her phone or something. Just like how he ran into her in the school hall covering her with paint.

Despite this ending I always thought there was more than a friendship between Cathy and Mark, and they were dancing around it with their outings
