We are currently looking into this issue! What exactly is happening when the game crashes? Does it crash on boot, or at specific points in the game, or both? Does it crash with any error messages from Windows, or does it just crash hard to desktop with no notifications? Any information you could provide would be super helpful!
In the meantime, we suggest making sure your graphics card drivers are up to date! Also, try manually closing Steam via task-manager and re-launching in administrator mode.
Thank you!
