Okay, I am torn. I love the idea, and game wise, executed well. BUT... As an actual motorcycle mechanic, it's cringe. The names of the parts are terrible, the mechanical aspect of the game is terrible, just bad from a mechanics point of view. The choppers you work on in the prologue is the worst. They have overhead cams with push rods as well... And the rear axle is held on with wingnuts. I truly hope they work with an actual mechanic when finishing this game and polishing it up, because they have something fun and entertaining to someone that doesn't actually wrench IRL. I don't know if they are improving the things I brought up or not or whats in the works for this game later on in life of it. I wanna stay optimistic and hopefully they heed my advice.

I thought it seemed like a great idea as i work on bikes myself but when i went to take the rear wheel off and saw that i had to take the chain, sprocket, brake caliper, pads and disc off i kinda lost it like why would you need to take the sprocked off at all and it would be easier to take off when you have the wheel on a bench anyways cuz there isnt a massive swingarm in your face. Its a great idea but like a few people have said they need to get someone who works on bikes to help them re create this or its just gonna flop.

DEVS READ THIS get someone who has mechanical knowledge of motorbikes, let them play the game and tell you what needs changing and fixing. I get this is a prologue and its not perfect but this CANNOT be in the final game or it will just not work.

Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator 2021 is just like any other Mechanic Simulator game that you can possibly think of. The only difference is that you're working on motorcycles instead of cars, etc. The free prologue is able to be 100% completed in around 3 hours (depending on if you have any distractions or not *cough* 4 month old *cough*) Personally I have never played any of the Simulator games like this before but when I saw that they basically have an "Open Beta" available I couldn't resist. I have no knowledge of engine mechanics or whatnot but this game was so easy to pick up and figure out how to do everything. Honestly debating on buying the actual game when it's fully released. The replay value is so great with this. So if you've never tried these sim games go ahead and give it a shot. You won't be disappointed....and if you are....well it's a free beta.

I'm going to recommend based only on the faith of the company making this game. If the actual game is like the prologue, I would not recommend this, just based on a mechanical view. Many of the aspects of the game are inaccurate to real life mechanical work, which would be acceptable if it wasn't a simulator. Also, the part names are laughable at best. It's a free demo, which I'm not complaining about, but devs, please take these things into consideration before release. I've been wanting to play a game like this for years, and just want to see it done right. Side note, I think you should be able to balance the wheels yourself instead of having the machine magically do it for you.

The mechanics are so far from correct its a joke, I cant even remove the front wheel on a MX bike without pulling the disc off and pulling the forks in half, and apparently the triple clamp and top half of forks is one piece/part, Who the hell is rebuilding forks every time they remove a wheel let alone even removing the forks at all,. when i seen this I thought cool, when I seen PlayWay I had a good feeling this would be the outcome, it seems to be the same on everything with there name on it, a lot of potential and no execution, onto the next sim release.

its clear from even the first task of removing a front wheel that no bike mechanics were involved in the making of this game. or anyone thats ever touched a spanner.

I found this a relaxing and enjoyable game to play. Will definitely pick up the full game when it's released.

Game is meh, look at this instead.
