after defeating the dreader, does he send you the hint about black veil monastery? the hint for black veil monastery is so unclear, so convoluted, so literally complicated in grammar and so misguided in directions, that i am not sure if this is him trying to break your mind.

Reading the letter i am totally unsure whether it describes the path from ravenglass to the black veil monastery or the opposite, so not sure what to do, this letter is exceptionally bad and unclear in comparison with the rest of the game hints

His journey began at the monastary and he ended up in ravenglass, so start at ravenglass on the map and work your way backwards through the hints he gives.

I felt it was unclear in the same way. Up until the last sentence it sounds like he's describing travelling to the monastery, not from it.

It was unclear to me as well from the letter but if you followed the directions from the city you would quickly end up in the sea.
