Wandering bue
Hi, just started the game and I'm super confused about this one. (yes, I have the page). I googled the answer so I know now which mushroom is it, but still have no idea about how the connection should be made. It seems like people get it because it says "sharp", but that's the only thing in common between the description in the book and the one you see when you inspect the plant. The is no other matching attribute at all, just 'sharp'. And there could be so many sharp mushrooms out there that just thinking the one I have happens to be the one solely because of that doesn't make sense at all. Am I missing something?

Wandering Blue.
You will learn of this plant on day one.
Open your store and start accepting requests then after a few look for>
Nora Butterfield's Request ( a Mysterious Card on the shelf you need to pick up.}
Next up is Nora Butterfield, who wants a fungus called Wandering Bue.

Maybe this was aggravated because I was playing the game in Spanish and there is a wrong translation. The description says that the lower part is sharp, but the book says the mushrooms are hard and pointy.

A bot? lol
The entire game and all parts can be found on the internet through Wiki.

After you have enough "will to explore" points, open the travel menu and go to Ambleside (there is a marked the spot in the picture, and the coordinates are C20). Upon returning, you will have two new entries in your Specimen Book, one for the Gilded Dendra and another for the Wandering Bue.

Remember that these are only entries in your book that will help you identify the plants, but you won't receive the plant's specimen.
After you solve a clue or letter, it'll have a checkmark on it, and you can store it in the archives compartment of your drawer.

If you are not a bot then clearly haven't even read what I wrote.

It is in fact the only mushroom in the game that's described as having sharp undersides when you put it into "A Closer Inspection", but if that isn't enough for you...every time you start a new day, the Wandering Bue has moved to a new location and it's the only one that changes positions between days.

Yeah, the problem is that's not possible to know that during the first day, when you need to use it.

i managed to find the plant just fine by using the inspect function. i would like to point out though that you have two pieces of info, its sharp and its a fungus. that helps narrowing it down a lot.

now maybe your right and there is no other way of knowing on the first day, but than again they could have done that intentionally. by forcing people to use the inspect function they learn to use it.

the explanations in the book usually have more information than the visuals and closer inspections tell you but i think that is fine, it is just part of the world building.
in the end it is still a puzzle game, if they gave you to much info than it would not be much of a puzzle anymore.

Sounds like the poor translation didn't help, but honestly, a lot of the clues are pretty questionable, and sometimes you will get it wrong. If you don't have any more clues for places to explore, especially in the first few days, then it's probably a plant you have, and you can just pick the closest one to the description. (Even if you get it wrong and fill up your dread it's not game over, just a setback.)

Later on though there are secrets and things you can unlock that you might miss, so if something really doesn't sound like anything you have, keep looking.
