How do you guys arrange your plants?
Just curious about it.
I first sorted them with groups like flower, flowerless, mushrooms...
Then I switched to their properties: medicinal, functional, ritual and ? ones.

Does anyone do in alphabetic order?

I do it in alphabetic order. I find it handy when referencing against the index in the book.
I wish I could index several ways! Or at least make notes in the book, maybe new sketches, and an index (pointing from latin or other name to the proper name in the table of content of the book). I might be a nerd.

I agree with this. Also my first play through I didn't organize them at all. What a mess that was.
abcd.... easiest way to acces em.
I organized alphabetically first play through. The second I did by general type (mushrooms, berries, etc) and then alphabetically.

I too wish there were a way to "stamp" the book when you find a plant. That's what many collector's would do -write date and area found in their books.
Shelves up top are reserved for identified plants and organized in alphabetical order. Unidentified plants go below and are organized in rainbow order.
I organised by type (mushrooms, flowers, berries etc) and then by colours
I organize by type as well. Mushrooms, berries, bulbs and flowers then by color. It's a slower option, but then again I want this game to last as long as it can. I'm really enjoying it so I'm not in a hurry to zip through it. I want to savor the story and enjoy the game!
I split it into plants where the ID had been confirmed (to the right), plants that I couldn't identify (to the left) and plants that I'd tentatively identified in the middle. I started off using red labels for deadly plants and purple for 'handle with care', but got bored part way through. I made sure to put the wandering bue on a shelf because it restricted how far it could wander :steammocking:
I did alphabetical. It was the only way to account for new book additions and new plants coming in at different rates. I left spots in the lineup for unidentified plants, and when I got a new page, I made a space for it in the ABC order so I could actively see which I haven't identified by gaps in the lineup
I just put the ones I haven't named yet on the shelves and keep the rest on the bottom. I think alphabetical is probably the best option but aint nobody got time for that. I mean obviously some people do but not me. Although I guess I do have time but I'm not gonna do it.

That's brilliant. I spent too much time going through the book to see which page or plant i just got.

I put all my mushrooms on one shelf, so I guess it was contained hahahaha.

I use red for deadly ones too or at least poisonous. Purple are for functional ones, like "lovelock" or "curse lifter." Yellow for medicinal plants or those without obvious properties.

Love your idea. Spending time inspecting and identifying plants helps me release stress and brings me pleasure. The slower the better for this type of games.

I wish to make notes in the book too! Some customers provide extra usage of the plant and these are not shown in the book. I also want to write doen the places and time when I get the plants.

I tried to do alphabetical, but that dumb Wandering Bue confused me all the time (did love it when I realised WHY it was constantly in the wrong place). Honesty I find just leaving plants from old to new tends to work very well, there's not so many days and costumers in the game that you often have to go back to older plants. With a few exceptions.
