Five flowers puzzle

So, I'm stuck at the flower buttons puzzle that will allow me to get the Mountain Astory (day 10).
I figured out the order of the flowers by looking at the shape of the shredded pieces of paper (and confirmed it by looking it up), yet nothing happens. I tried the order in reverse (because of the tulip being upside down) but still the compartment does not reveal itself.
Am I missing something?

No. Setting the symbols on the buttons in the exact same order as assembled paper pieces should work. Check again if you have your order right. And there are two "tulip" symbols, are you sure you've set the right one?

The tulips must be in the same direction. Click on the symbol on the table.

I was having problems with puzzle too and didn't realize that there are two versions of the tulip shape in the desk buttons. Your tip helped me; thank you!
