I finished the game
It was really good, though it left me wanting more. The story line wrapped up nicely, but I'd love to have ANOTHER mystery to solve. You guys have created a great cast of eccentric characters I'd like to get to know better.

As it was, I'd say this is one of the most tightly-plotted mysteries I've played in a game, and that includes comparing it to games like the Sherlock Holmes series. The writing in this is top notch.

The music, which is always a big deal to me (I'm a composer myself), was a bit monotonous, though it set the mood well. And the end music was terrific.

The gameplay was good, though I often had to abandon customers at the counter to wander the English countryside. That felt a bit rude. I would have like the ability to tell someone I'd look into it, so they would GO AWAY, and give me time to talk to other people or investigate clues to seek out new plants.

Are there? I looked at the guide, and it only described the one I completed. I also finished the bit with Smiler and Gerry, but that didn't give me any more info on Euric.

It depends on which plants you use in the rare cases where you can pick more than one.
Though I admit after I played once and got a pretty good ending where everyone actually survived, I am not really interested to play again for a different outcome.
I really don't want to harm my customers.

Oops! I'm sorry. My response was me thinking this was in a different game forum. (I finished that one too. :steamfacepalm:) Yeah, I know I could go back and make some different choices. I'll probably do that later. I like to wait a while, before replaying a game, to let my memory of it fade a bit.

Is that a game you would recommend? (Always looking for more good mystery adventure games.)

It's a fantastic game called Graveyard Keeper. But it's not at all like this one. More of a dark humor farming sim about a guy forced to be, uh... a graveyard keeper. :steamhappy:

Just finished it with my wife, and we both felt a second game, using (but scrambling) the current assets would be a sure buy for us, as well. I don't write that about many games, and I doubt you do, either.
