Why deleting demo?

I just downloaded it & want to try before buy.
What is the difficulty of leaving the opportunity to play the demo version of the game after the release of the game?

Probably because it may be an outdated demo release or they just want players to purchase the game since it is being released tomorrow.

Yeah was about to hop on and play some more to see what else I missed. I'll buy the game eventually but the removal of the demo (even if it's not new for steam) definitely makes me wary so I'll just wait till a sale for this.

The problem is that I didn't have time. Now I downloaded it but cant run :C
In any case, it doesn't matter that the demo version is outdated, as long as it doesn't significantly differ from the final product.
Watching videos is not the same as trying out the demo yourself.
There are a lot of games on "Steam" right now and it's not possible to buy them all, and a permanent refund can be regarded as an abuse of the rules.

Such a stupid trend of modern games. I miss the days of demo discs. Sometimes the demos were outdated by the release time, and nobody cared. Some people just wanna play the demo.

Also it helped recovering beta and pre release content. Good for preservation.
