Why i can't use tonch pad on steamdeck in game ?
i'm useing Gamepad with Mouse trackpad setting on steamdeck but the touch pad not working.

(It's because the games are modelled after Perfect Dark, GoldenEye and Timesplitters; they were console games that never got PC ports and were designed for stick controls. You don't aim 'down' a reticule, or at a cursor; the game basically just auto-aimed at enemies for you. They've gone for that style of play here. The TL;DR is that, if you could use mouse/pad aim, you would have a massive advantage. Don't bother asking them to change it - it's a deliberate stylistic choice; would be like asking FIFA to use an American football instead.)
