Gyro Aim Issues with EAC Enabled

I love playing this game with Gyro as mouse aiming. It makes for great head shots and I played it that way for all of the demo over and over again. Now when I tried that for the game this time it didn't work. Apparently on the EAC version. I don't get that. When I play in non EAC mode, it works fine. Anyone else run into this? Even if I just want to play co op with a friend online I can't use it.
