We're grateful that you're playing the game today!
I am having the same issue. After the radio sequence at the start, the character just keeps spinning and heading right.
Restarting the game does not fix the drifting issue. It feels like the game is getting an "A" input somewhere. The game starts running to the left during the first scene and once it reaches left limit up the first set of stairs the game keeps running in circles and it is possible to get to the top via mouse pathfinding so it doesn't look like it's registering a key press on my side otherwise it would cancel the point and click, correct?
sporadic when it's fighting with a mouse click anchor, but if I try WASD it will go back to hard left as soon as I input any direction. I also tried disconnecting Battle.net, since Diablo 4 had a vaguely similar issue while Steam was open (constant up input). This didn't seem to change anything for Oxenfree 2 though. This issue is rendering the game unplayable for me so far.
No way to nuke the control settings, and plugging in a XBox controller does not fix the issue, going to continue troubleshooting just in case it's a local configuration issue.
Engaging Boost mode causes my game to loose the left direction drift and to gain right direction drift.
I think Omega was on the right track about phantom controller inputs, I have flight sticks though they weren't plugged in either.
