I love this game and it is amazing, but my problem with it is that you can only save by paying tokens which are a limited recourse. this makes it incredibly hard to explore because you will have no tokens most of the time while exploring meaning you cannot save, and that really drags the game down in my opinion. please make it so once you clear a zone saving is free or do anything, just please make it so that saving is better.
Other then that my only other problem is the wrench and short range it is. it would be nice if you made it hit a bit farther because whenever i go to use the wrench i always get grabbed by a puppet at least once because of how close i have to get to be able to hit them.
If anyone else has feelings about this please tell me and i hope these problems get fixed soon.

Part of this game is resource management, which includes managing your tokens, among other things. You should be able to find plenty of tokens to last you through a play through as long as you space out saving and try to wait to do so until you’ve made some meaningful progress. Once you find the map, you can use this to see if you’ve collected all the resources in a room or not, which includes coins. If you have, the room will be green on the map, and if not it’ll be red. That said, if this is impacting your enjoyment of the game, you can always play on Friendly difficulty, where saving is free.

Also, the wrench isn’t meant to be that good of a weapon. Since, again, resource management is baked into the gameplay, having a weapon with unlimited ammo that works just as well as the guns that do require ammo would be too OP. That said, it is possible to unlock a cheat that makes the wrench better, and another cheat that gives you infinite ammo. But to unlock the cheat menu you have to beat the game at least once. I think the mega wrench cheat is unlocked via one of the cheat tapes you can find, but not sure which. The infinite ammo cheat I’m pretty sure is unlocked via beating Survival difficulty.

Is there no ability to have multiple saves? So we can load from previous saves?

There are 4 save slots. And a new game + option for a file you’ve already beaten. This is talking about the ability to save your game in general.

omg i just lost like half hour progression because it didnt save upon leaving
