Sewers - Norman and Returning

I left the sewers after doing everything I thought I could do but after entering the elevator to go to the theatre area I decided to go back because I hadn't helped that dude in the pipes like I had Pearl and I wanted to see if I'd missed something.

When I returned parts of the area were scribbled off, I couldn't go back into the tunnels, and the boats were out of commission. I'm assuming I'll return later because I'm sure there were doors that needed a green triangle key that I don't have yet, but have I missed out on helping the pipe guy?

I got the frog girl (Goblina?) with the reels (Still can't find the first one), and I helped Pearl during my first go through of Stage 4 so I'm just worried you're supposed to help the puppets the first time you're in the area and that I've messed up by not working out whatever it was I needed to do in the Sewers.

Nope, you'll be able to return to that section of the sewers and help Ray later on.
