Save Game Location & Backup

There have been a few posts about gamebreaking bugs, save corruption, dying due to glitches, etc. and while I've not had any of these myself, I thought it would be useful to share this info (at least until the bugs get fixed):

Save games are located in '%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Lovely Hellplace\Dread Delusion' and are named for the slot, e.g. DreadDelusionSlot1.hell is the first save slot.

You can make copies of these to a separate folder and restore them if something goes wrong, to minimise lost progress.

Try to do this after EVERY game session. Because you can get your saves "corrupted" even in the main menu, while setting screen resolution, volume etc.
