I'd say it's worth picking up for the quests, environment, and vibe alone. But if you're looking for even a rudimentary combat system that challenges you in some way, this game doesn't have it. I would describe the combat as something close to Skyrim on the easiest difficulty, but lacking even the necessity to block attacks. Takes like 6-7 hits max to kill tough enemies, standard ones are 3-4. You can also infinitely stun lock most humans and half the time they don't even attack you when they're not stun locked, which seems like a persistent bug to me but it might be how the game is designed. It's rare an enemy gets a hit on your or that they attack you at all.
I mean, there are more issues with this game than just the garbage combat. I did leave a negative review for a reason. I recommend reading it before you waste money on this game.
Even if it was harder as is, I'd still just be moving backwards and forwards left clicking unless the enemy AI got a massive overhaul.
