Attack spell in 1.0

So I specced my character into magic, but I cant find any attack spell anywhere in the first area. The locations are all outdated. Anyone find one early in 1.0 yet?

Fire arrow is pretty good. It costs not much mana and does ok damage. I dont remember where i did find it, but I guess in endless realm

I found the basic attack spell somewhere in the vicinity the giant mushroom dungeon. Might've been in one of those shrine/temple-like structures, but I can't remember exactly.

Yes, in the mushroom area under the starting town Pgwll (sp?), there is a temple up on a cliff/ridge. You have to pick a lock and once you access it there is an attack spell (cipher spear)

At the starting mushroom town just look for one of the white stone ruins under the town, most of basic gear such as few armor and basic damage spell will be there

ya i just got this game, went full magic build. no dmg spell in sight. am i supposed to go into this blinding fortress without any spells?

Yup.
Spells are pretty rare in this game, and many of them show up near the endgame if you don't google their location right away.

I got my battle mage gear exactly before the final mission, which I got through without a single kill.
