The Ending [Spoilers]
I am not sure how the other endings look but I have a feeling the "old crew" about dies in all of them but Basalt. I see people complain its not Morrowind or how bad the combat is, but I see the game as one long nostalgic journey for Caer, the ghost and even from Velas perspective its all about trying to fix what is unfixable. the whole crew got ties back to the past.

The Embrian seeking her origin, Basalt siting in a bar, telling stories, The Duchess wanting her daughter back, its just a hand...and Frost removing his own memories.

Its a journey of sentimentality and nostalgia. An journey of friends to dance and laugh and fight one last time as they try to correct their wrong doings. Atleast in the ending where you do not merge with the void being, it is very bitter sweet. You're merely the "new" guy that pushes everyone back together for one final hurrah.

The ending is hellishly bittersweet. The story pushed something, some old buttons I guess. Along with the old graphics, the PS1 esthetic cursed demo thing, it feels nostalgic and sentimental. Brought back some memories of playing games on saturday morning as a kid with friends at a sleepover, laughing at how easy things was.

I think the game is great for what it is, but I do not see that much notice for it out there.

That's what happens with the oversaturated games market and probably not the best PR marketing campaign.

Sadly so. As another thread said. We get 5 hour long videos about Starfield and people sitll talk about it while this game will probably be in obscure lore videos here and there but not get much attention.

Bittersweet? But... there are options.
Well, at least in mine ending all crew alive, Duchess came to live and found daughter (not in "one-hand" form), Emberian finally leaving armor behind, others met pretty happy ending too...
And Vela got back her sister too.
(Well... in terms of regions it can be a bit messy. Sorry, Kingdom of Undead if only I knew how powerful Angel.)
