Below the Endless

I'm currently doing the quest Below the Endless but have no idea how to destroy the statue. I feel like i'm missing something in plain sight but I have ran all over the mines over a dozen times. A heads up on what to do would be appreciated.

I can't remember the exact location, but if you're trying to destroy the goddess, you can find one of the inquisitors. Talking to them, they'll give you a weapon to destroy it.

they're in a locked room at one of the lowest portions of the mine
can't remember eactly where but like that bottom of the main shaft/one of the parts that branches off from there

I can't find this room either. I ran into a locked door with no obvious way to open it and can't find anything else.

Nevermind, I found it. It's an additional branch off of the largest room in the mine.
