they need to remove the verified status to 'not supported' until they figure their stuff out, its misleading.
you can go from 60fps down to 15 just by turning 180°
i ended up chugging through and getting used to it since it’s mostly just a story game and the combat isn’t really the main focus at all.
overall, i’d say the game is still worth playing on the steamdeck if you’re interested, the storytelling and writing is really the majority of the game tbh.
But Lunacid / corn kids / Toree / super kiwi 64 / lunistice all run amazing on the deck and are all Saturn / ps1 style poly games.
It’s literally just something with this game the devs need to sort out.
I started on the deck and it used to run great during early access / beta etc but they did one update during EA and than it started to have bad performance. It’s now better than it was but not by much. I just play it on my pc now I’m also bummed I lost my og save from early access was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the dev to do that now I’m starting over on pc but the motivation isn’t there like it was when I started in ea.

I think the option to add fog and render distance would go a long way for optimization.
