truth potion

What have you guys used the truth potion for other than the paintings in the cursed castle? Thus far I haven't found anything. I did get mention from a ghost about a underground graveyard hidden underground just beyond the cliffs (undead region) by an illusion spell but can't seem to find that .

There are illusion walls around the world, some have no indication that they are there. Others are near or by the giant Wiccan statues (basically the bigger revive totems)

But as I mentioned there are some that have no real indication, so really you have to luck out, or get a quest reward item that when worn gives the truth effect, at the cost of MP drain, but don't save and quit with it equipped atm it will cause a save to get stuck in infinite loading. Next update might fix that, I hope.

I just wasted a truth potion to try to find this thing in the area close to the ghost, then stumbled on it by accident when I decided to go back North...

It's actually about 1/2 way between Rhydder's Estate and the Southern Mausoleum. It's at the base of plateau the mausoleum is on, on the East side. There's one of the creepy skinny skeletons holding up an orb statue to mark the spot, you just run through the wall behind it.

There's a delusion fragment and some other minor loot.

There's this big thief hideout or something. An abandoned town up high in the Hallow area. I used the speed spell to jump to an area I couldn't get to otherwise and found a man sitting inside a tree. He told me to use a truth potion to make a certain bridge appear, but I'm not sure where he meant and for what purpose.

The bridge is effectively right behind him. Using the potion shows a bridge running from his tiny island up to the side of the castle on the next section up.

If you already did the area it's a waste of a truth potion, it's just a shortcut to an area you can reach by going the *other* way around the base of the castle.

There's a much better use for one of those potions in the Cadaver castle, if you haven't done that yet. (but it's still just some side loot, though IIRC you at least get a delusion fragment)
