Save file not loading...

Is it just me? They updated the game and I wanna get in, but my save file won't actually load

Same issue. I tried starting a new one and seems to work. Old saves seems broken, stuck in loading screen...

Hiya! If your save file is broken, can you try sending it over and we'll have a look?

Save files can be found in: C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\LocalLow\Lovely Hellplace

Quick question as this might be some kind of a clue for devs.
Is your save pretty old like around first month or two when game come out in early access?

Nope! My save file was last updated earlier this year when the previous update came out...

What about Sepulchre house? Do you maybe have it partially furnished? (rooms unlocked but not upgraded to contain furniture)

Nope, I had finished it as far as I remember... I remember hopping in and finishing it when they added the replenishing iron from the merchant, cause that was the only thing in my way from completing it.

Thanks for this! I tried it out, and it was indeed crashing, and throwing an error about the Lore Specs...

So, I've fixed the bug on my end. I can now load your save just fine. Did everyone else on this thread have Lore Specs equipped? I'm pushing this as a hotfix - hopefully will solve all your issues.

If your version number reads 0.6.23 (or higher) on the menu screen, but your save still won't load, let me know in here and I'll DM you for your save file. But hopefully this has fixed it for everyone.

It works for me now at least as I used to run around with spectacles everywhere.
