-This is a port of the mobile version
- No Spectactular Highlights or Bump map detail on the character models
- No evironental lighting that effects the models.
- Main Menus are Still FMV's
- No revised Controlls for Gamespeak [gamepad]
- No button to sneak, instead using mobile based set up
- Higher Resolutions and Frame rate vs. PS3/Vita versions
Ps3 and Vita versions
- Improved visual detail and special character and evironemntal lighting
- The Menus are native 16:9 and are real time, not FMV menus [that menas abe and munch on the menu are actual 3D models]
- They have a system for gamespeak that makes it much more like the PS1 titles with icons that pop up telling what button says what.
-L1 or L on vita is a sneak button which is much easier to just press
-720p Resolution on Ps3 [lower on Vita but still with the same quality visuals]
-Overall revised control scheme making the game even more enjoyable and less frustrating.
I was hoping that they'd just port the HD PS3/Vita versions much like they did with strangers wrather HD, since with those games they went back deep into the game and retouched it, this version is just the xbox title ported to mobile and then ported to PC with new assests without the visual additions that give the PS3 port it's glory.
Since I have every version I think I've been able to tell you everything I can.
It's cool tho, anything is better than when this first laucned on steam, what a mess that was, most people including myself couln't get the game to run.
Thanks a lot for this detailed comparison, been looking for this since the game relaunched! 😊
Yeah, but just imagine being one of the people who had to wait 4 YEARS for the update we've gotten from the time the HD version was confirmed to be heading to pc.
Via RPCS3? Are you sure there are no bugs?
Thanks for the info :)
