Stuck in chapter 2

I've solved the altercation topic and seem to have talked to/met everyone. There are no links to be made (all objectives show 0). I've even been to the butler's pantry and met Inge, which doesn't seem strictly necessary. The game isn't pushing me to do anything, giving me new objectives. Heeeeeelllppp?!

I did just find the staff objective as well and then quickly resolved it...stuck again in almost the same place.

Hi chrysalis8, it's hard to say without knowing how much you've found, but it could be that you're missing some evidence! I'd double check no mindmaps are asking you to talk to any suspects, and try and find rooms you've not entered yet, or clues you've not found in those rooms that could lead to some new connections. Hope this helps!

Chrysalis - I think I may be struggling in that same exact chapter 2 spot and it feels like a bug. I am searching for what I expect I missed that will allow me to progress but, I can't find it! Can you give me a hint?

Ahhh....in my situation, I did not realize that even after an objective's mind map has been checked off and appears complete, there can still be connections to make in it.

return to your 'completed" mind maps (ones that are checked off) and try to make a few more connections. In my situation, the game let me make one more connection (a sorta obvious one) and then everything feel into place and began progressing again

I have tried this and absolutely none of my links are active -- has to be a bug unfortunately
Surprise! tried again this morning and it worked! (behind the scenes update assumed)

Yes, I'm stuck in the same chapter (2) but I will check the completed one again - which I've already done multiple times trying to figure this out. Argh!! lol

I'm glad you managed to progress, Detective. Happily me too. An un-signposted conversation with Ernesto in the library. Once I had that, other mindmaps and conversations opened up. On now to part 3. :)

I have the same problem, being stuck after completing all the objectives on both the connections (the mind map) and the conversations (the people list) with the characters. The above did not suggest anything on how to resolve it. I checked the Youtube walkthrough and it seems that there were something missing with Ernesto and Inge. But I returned to them and found the conversation could not progress at all (no further option to talk). So can the developer reply if it is a bug or something like evidences are still missing for the "stuck"? Archibald wouldn't bring me to the dining room without the conversation option about the "smell" of the kitchen.

Ha...it has something to do with reading the note posted on the wall right next to the pantry room.

There is definitely a bug. I had to restart the game, after that it shown the note...
