save game location

Where is the save game location on the computer - exact file/folder?

I had been saving what I thought was the save game file under appdata/locallow/microids and under that there was a folder with a large string of numbers but that didn't work for me.

Interesting question. Which files I need to copy?

Cloud saves doesn't work. I have installed the game on my other gaming PC (Windows 7). There I cannot continue my game.

thanks to a friend who told me where they were -

C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Microids\Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot_ The First Cases/game data v 3.bin

the game data v 3 bin is the save file. this did work for me and what I did in my second runthrough of the game.

Hey Gingergal, I see you tracked it down but if anyone else is curious, an easy method is to paste this into your file address bar and find the GameDatav3 file: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Microids\Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot_ The First Cases

how I said: cloud saving doesn't work. On a different PC (same steam account) I have to start the game again. I could not continue the game.

kelso I'm not at all tech savvy but did you try putting that save file from your other computer onto a usb stick or equivalent and then install it into your other computer from that? There isn't cloud saving for this game.

Thank you for the info. I have thought that cloud saving is standard for all steam games.

Does it work if transfer save game to another computer?
