Help me understand Camp Management

I get that, conceptually, I'm supposed to manage the camp resources, of power, water, and food, but I am looking at the Camp Management screens and I just have no idea what I am looking at. I click things on and off and I expect to see the numbers along the top or the left side change but they don't seem to.

It is the best way to earn money Also if the top left (Number of turns) if they reach zero i presume your camp dies? If you supply the needed components to the camp they will pay you.

Basically (i learn it through the hard way) you will always need to get 3 things:
Methane Ore
Biological Parts
Cellulose

Refine:
Methane Ore -> Power
Biological Parts -> Blood, Bone, Tissue -> Fertilizer
Plant Stuff -> Cellulose -> Chemicals for Water

Always refine them to get a steady income. Hope this helps.

I don't understand the interface. What am I looking at? I think I'm at a more basic level than what you're trying to explain. Like there's a row with "Generator", "Water Station", "Bio Farm", etc. I get that I'm supposed to power them, but what does that accomplish? What's the effect? What happens if I don't power one? I don't really understand all the info boxes, since clicking on and off the power doesn't seem to change any numbers anywhere except -10 power.

Honestly ignore the gibberish, the only thing you need to concern yourself is power. The different components of the camp are for you to upgrade that's all(to be honest its like a hide and seek quest layout to find stuff to upgrade your camp BUT it doesnt do anything but make numbers bigger). However that being said, the game is structured in a way, its not a problem. Just make sure your net positive on all 3. Other then that its just a gimmick to give you money. Any special benefits are all in the side quests.

Only interactive (nothing special) is the right of that page, it will show you when you get invaded(also a gimmick for no reason but to annoy) and all the floors you are on and the Air filters and Power Plant you missed.

What are the numbers on the top left of the main screen with the parenthesis (power, water, rations) and how do I increase the blue numbers?They are different than the numbers in the camp management screen.
