Any other means to get into Tau's office?

I didn't collect evidences behind Tau's calligraphy before he came back, and the next Bringing Justice quest is stuck.
Is there any legal means (or illegal, XD) to get inside once again? I tried to slay him using glass sword, but the corpse would still teleport before me to ask me going away XD

I didn't get the evidence my first time either. I thought Tau's desk was in a different location and left, and couldn't get back in. I had to reload to an earlier save. :<

However, there is no followup quest for me. I have the ledger and the datapad and Cassini told me to go to Security, but I have no quest and nobody in Security is responding.

I tried to use Discover a whole time but failed to find the safe mentioned in the note on the dest XD, IWhen I look back, I guess it's behind the calligraphy.
The following quest is triggered maybe days later, Called Bringing Justice by Dalton wells.

You have to do other side quests first and advance main story. You eventually get a sidequest to get back at Tau which involves sneaking into the office.

You mean, Beside [Sneaking In] posted by Ulf, there's another sidequest to get back?
If so, that will be a good news for obssesive quest-all-clearing guys like me XD
Leaving any quest unfinished in my log before pusing the story into the next phase would almost kill me
