This game vs 'Islanders'...?

I put a fair amount of hours into the game 'Islanders' - this game seems pretty similar, is there anyone who might have experience might be able to do a comparison [aside from the obvious difference in artistic style] before I sink a bunch of (potentially duplicated) time into this title.

Well, Islanders is in 3D, this one is 2D, soo....

That said I think I'll add Islanders to my watch list.

I haven't played a huge number of hours yet, but the concept is the same. You place a building and gain points based on the other buildings that fall within the boundary. Or lose points if you're too close to something else. You get multiple buildings and rounds to gain a certain score.

Islanders was an inspiration so it has a lot of commonalities :)
