Saves are located under %appdata%/MindThunk/CtrlAltEgo
(paste that literally into Windows Explorer)
Navigate through until you find the large saves with .ego extension. Pick one where Bug0 has gone missing (probably the latest save), and send to ctrlaltego@mindthunk.com or upload elsewhere and post link here.
If you can tell me where you think you left Bug0 (e.g. screenshot) that will help too.
Hope to hear from you soon then, sorry again for the bug.
I left bug 0 near the entrance to the pipe to the higher level so I could come back for it. I think the first time I tried to take it through the pipe but hit a trap. So initially suspected it glitched through a wall. But second time left it before pipe.
Another clue. Earlier in the game I did manage to glitch through a wall as Bug 22 when I got blown up and fell out of levels into space to same spot. But I just reprinted myself and could continue the game. Has somehow Bug 0 info got mixed up with that? A nasty hack might be to allow reprinting of Bug 0 once rescued. I did look for that just in case.
Something you could try to get unstuck or if you don't want to have to wait for me to find the problem would be to go 'the other way' - there are the CRS backstairs at the other end of the science map - should be fewer problems joining to the Corporate level if you go that route.
It's bad though that Bug0 can go AWOL like this - I probably should add an emergency 'reprint' option as you suggest.

Edit: Patch is now live on Steam public-beta branch (version shows in-game as 1.4.14)
