Zorro is a male character. So far as I can tell he had no sister in the original works, never mind one that uses the same alter ego.
At least they made a new character to be female Zorro rather than changing the gender of the original character, to their credit. This shows more respect for the source material than many other adaptations these days.
To me, that in itself makes the adaptation a reasonable and potentially enjoyable one there is no particular reason to take issue with.
