Performance 😡
Ultra settings sucks on my i7, 32GB ram 3080ti. It's unacceptable for a game that's basically 1.5 characters in a plain room. I shouldn't have to settle for mid settings for this to run good. Your new update didn't help with performance at all. Otherwise this is a cool concept.

No issues on my 980Ti and 6700k, still get max fps. Granted, not doing ultra...but the one step below. But using max textures.

Oculus, SteamVR, through Oculus2

I streamed it thru my quest 2. I'll try my index natively

If you're using DLSS, it's my understanding there are currently performance issues. Have you tried the FSR option?

Ya I didn't notice much different. I'll try again later. Thanks

The cloth sim & soft body physics tanks frame rate at the moment. 2060 Super + 3700X. Turn that off and FPS jumps a lot. Sucks because the soft body physics are one of the defining features of this game.

I got my money back. The game is nothing more than a beauty pageant atm. It's awful when trying to "engage" the woman or do anything other than stare at her. It works for a bit then it loses control and that's when your legs start floating, the D;;k is protruding from your shoulder, woman's breasts become one,m just endless visual and performance bugs For me anyways and i have a strong modern machine.

Granted I returned it "refunded" a day before the big "patch" so I don't know if that fixed any but you're posting a day after so it leaves me to believe it's still bad. However if they do get it near optimized which I doubt it is the most realistic looking of the genre and I know because I'm the pig that buys them all. When and if this works as advertised I'm going back to being single.

Sadly this new trend of paying full price for an early release regardless if AAA game or not is a license to rip people off. I don't say this against this company but in general. I may purchase this again in the far future but I hit the brakes on buying early access games.

The other thing I've found is restarting your PC before opening VRHot can make a big difference. Also, in the case of Quest 2, opening the Oculus app and doing a "factory refresh" can solve some issues.

I have a 5900x, 32GB @3600MHz, 3080, and Index. Game runs OK for me on very high with motion smoothing forced on (that caps it at 45fps). It won't run steadily at 90fps at those settings but I'm OK with 45 so long as it's smooth. I'm not denying that you're having performance problems btw (hate when people do that). Are you using a headset that has a higher res than the Index?

Edit: I read in another comment that you're using a Q2 but are gonna try the Index. If that doesn't help I'm out of ideas. lol

iif someone have a 4 or 6 core processor, then a change to 8 cores will give more performance. For me, after changing from ryzen 7 2700x to ryzen 5 5600x, the performance dropped a bit. It seems that the game uses more than 6 cores effectively.

I didnt tried all but I tried many.
IMHO the best thing on market atm is VaM (Virt-a-Mate) with VamX add-on.
V1 is available from quite some time, its being actively developed with V2 with better soft skin physics and other improvements on the way.

Pros:
- huge variety of everything
- many content creators
- integrated download hub with a lot of free content
- hub content is updated daily
- gazillion of tweaking options
- has VamX add on to help

Cons
- not much of content which VR HOT tries to achieve: walking and automated girl with randomized behavior
- steep learning curve of how to properly use it (VamX helps with this)
- needs strong PC

Hint: you can get both VaM and VamX cheap with several other interesting games and a lot of video content with one month sub on vrp o rn . com. I think that this is best bang for buck you can get atm.
If you like it, you can continue to support em on their patreon pages.

Vamx doesn't use the embody plugin yet. So possession and tracking is not what it could be... Otherwise I agree.

Huge con: VaM is not on steam
TeQue Oct 23, 2022 @ 1:38pm
this game doesn't work good on anything, i've played this both on 8 gb ram and 16 gb ram, gtx 970 and rtx 3060, works litteraly the exact same

Hi all, I have an amdFx 8 cores 3.5Ghz, 24gb ram and a gtx 1070. Framerate looks quite accepatable, but sound is incredibly slow, just like 40 or 50 times slower than normal. It don't looks like a performance issue.. looks more like a sound driver setting or a steamvr codec setting... Any suggestion? Anyone else has similar issues? Thank you.
