How do I get the fox in chapter 18-10

In order to get The Fox, you have to get 3 stars for level 18-10. One of the requirements is to defeat The Fox with an attack skill.
But attack skills do zero damage to the boss.
What am I missing here?

click right on boss - you can read what do for attack him. you need multi damage 4 or more in game.
