It could work if you imagion the protaganist is renting a room at this familys house and they are also renting a room to an other girl that lives there too. Or that she is adopted.
So does that mean then that Mia and the mother figure never end up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?
What I tried to do was imagine a set up that I can get turned on by and just accepted that some of the dialogue will sound weird. As I wrote in my review, this reminds me that it's supposed to be incest and it's so disgusting what they do so it gets distracting. I still enjoyed it this way though.
You need maternal and paternal figures who aren't related to either the main character or Mia. Remember that they all live in the same house and the parental figures are older than Mia and the main character. They are also authority figures to Mia and the main character.
You need a guy who lives with Mia's friend Emma.
Preferably you'll need roles that also double as a pronoun, something that you would address someone with instead of their name (i.e. mom and dad, or buddy, maybe doctor). I'm not sure many exist but try to get as close as you can.
No role you come up with will make sense in the story completely so you'll have to accept there will be some weird dialogue later like people saying, "where are Friend and Friend?"
