Game crashes
In the soulstorm brewery at same point you have to chant to get the mudokons safe while you release fleeches. When i start chanting my game crashes, only on that point it does. (when i chant somewhere else or at another point in the same room it doesnt crash) I get the message from windows that the game stopped working and it will shut down. I have no idea how to get passed that level in another way. anyone knows a solution?

I'm having this same issue and can't seem to get past this level because of it. I get all the mudokons standing, ready to jump in the portal before they get licked to death, and I get 3 of the guys into the portal, as the 4th one tries to get in the portal, the game freezes and then crashes to desktop. Really not keen on ignoring this level because I want to save all 300 mudokons. My only guess is to try and lock the mudokons away in the small chamber with the bird portal, and kite the fleeches over to the next room to zap them dead with the electric walls. Pulling that off isn't easy though lol. This is the only solution I can think of, as I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the amount of sprites on screen and/or memory being used in this small level which causes the game to crash.

The solution I suggested works! This is what I did to get past the level:

When you first get into the level, leave the guy on the drop-out-floor-thingy next to the lever and go into the next room where the 3 mudokons on laughing gas are in. Slap some sense into them and leave one in the room next to the lever, and tell him to pull it (obviously, make sure to leave the other two outside of where the electric walls are, and make sure you are standing with these two). Take the other two with you, and have them follow you up to the lower slam door, make sure they're standing right up against the slam door so they're able to get in bird portal ASAP. Get onto the upper level and stand next to the lever where the drop-floor-thing is, obviously not on it. Say "All a'ya!" to make sure they're all standing, then chant and save the first 3 as normal. Then you need to get the fleeches trapped in the bird portal chamber so you can safely transport the last guy into the room. Go into the other room again, and tell the mudokon to turn the walls off, then bring him into the first room, and have him sit next to the slam door on the right side of the room. I'm not sure how good you might be at confusing/tricking the fleeches' AI (it's not easy but usually not horribly difficult in this level), but you need to trick the fleeches into staying on the upper level, above the bird portal chamber, I did this by trapping Abe in the chamber at first, then using the ring to get the slam door open. Get the last mudokon to sneak into the chamber and then sit up against the far left wall of the room. Sneak Abe out of the room and into the next room, making sure to vault up to the second level. The fleeches should stay confused and remain on top of the bird portal chamber. Sneak back into the first room so the bird portal re-appears, then save the mudokon. Re-trap the fleeches in the bird portal chamber, then you're free to exit the level.

Side note: This only worked for me once, I wasn't able to replicate this solution on a second go-round, so you might also want to try saving 2 at a time (bring only 1 of the 3 in the second room, vs. 2 from the second room). I'll be trying this as well to see if it works. I wouldn't advise saving only one at a time, just so the fleeches are licking more than one mudokon and thus less efficient at killing them. I'll add a reply or edit this one to let you know if the "two at a time" solution works as well. Let me know if either of these works for you!

Yeah I'll go ahead and just add a new reply so my last one doesn't get horribly long lol. As I type this, I'm essentially at the end of trying the second version of my solution, which seems to work. I saved the first two as per usual, then got the other two into the bird portal chamber.

So, I saved the first two, locked the fleeches away, went into the other room where I'd told one of the mudokons to turn on the electric walls, and told one to turn them off. I brought them both into the first room next to the rightmost slam door, and had them stand up next to it. I locked Abe into the chamber, with the fleeches on the level above. This took some doing, but I eventually got them up there, best way to get them to stay up there is to make sure the fleeches are moving in sync, get on the upper level next to the big green vase or whatever it is, and run-jump across to the other side, preferably at the exact moment the fleeches start the animation of vaulting up with their tongues, quickly pulling the lever to get trapped in the chamber and the fleeches should be moving back and forth above Abe's head. Walk up next to the far left wall of the room and the fleeches should follow. You might want to crouch down for a second, then stand back up and take one sneaking step to stand under the pull ring. The fleeches should stay next to the left wall and sit there now. Then it's as simple as making sure the next two mudokons get in the chamber and stand at the far left wall of the room, having Abe sneak to leave and re-enter the room, save the mudokons, lock the fleeches into the bird portal chamber, and you're good to go.

I hope my solutions have been easy enough to understand, and that you or anyone else can get past this level without the game crashing with these solutions I've suggested.
