Help with the problem. Misssing overlay.dll when entering the game. Error saving when loading. The game time and the wrong date are lost. Thanks.

I had this problem as well, and the same error message. I tried to load a save, all the auto and manual saves were corrupted as you say, with events stuck in limbo and nothing but # signs where the time should be. I had to start from a new save and replay the game. Then the problem magically fixed itself. Not to say that it won't come back, though.

This was never fixed, just bought the game same error. Will refund.
