I saved all 99 Mudokons expecting to get rewarded for the hard work.
Nope! Just the option to view all the cut scenes, both good and bad endings and the credits. And guess what? Nothing but the bad ending and credits worked.

The reward is in game and a one time thing, it doesn't show up on any public profile and is rare.
If you knew about the secret end cutscene that was given on PS1 you'd know better.

Furthermore Abe's Oddysee doesn't have acheivements, leaderboards, scoreboards or anything like that...

Man.. I know Oddworld games have been ported reeeeally badly, but missing one cutscene is NOT the end of the world. It's a shame that such a great game isn't experienced as well as you could experience it on the playstation consoles.

The game is still amazing nontheless though. Don't say you got "robbed" that's a bit of an overstatement. It doesn't even cost that much (although this is not a good excuse for a really bad port). Let's hope that New N Tasty does a much better job.

Man I appreciate your concern for the gaming community, but rest assured I share the same view. Robbed was a word I used to exhaust my frustration and in your opinion an overstatement.

Once again please do your research because the video isn't on youtube.

Had of I known that for legal reasons the scpecial cutscene wouldn't be available on the ported version of this game, I would have either downloaded the orignal dos version or I would have found a copy for PS1.

I loved playing through Abe's Oddysee and I even streamed it on twitch with great reviews.
I'm a gamer from way back and I don't care about leaderboard status and achievements etc.

So please give me a break, do your research and offer a solution.

And yes... As I said I'm on your side in terms of being a really awful port and not including the things it's supposed to include. My major concern doesn't lie in a missing cutscene though. There are way worse problems with this port.. The saves, the audio being inverted, the awful gamepad options and not working triggers. It's only funny that you mention the missing cutscene and call it being robbed when there's other much more damaging issues which would be way more convincing. But fine: you were mad and probably still are.. I get it. I just see different issues before that one. Just my view.

Oddworld needs to sell well with new n tasty if they want to move on. What they also could do is improve these older but great games... So many people don't know about Oddysee and Exoddus it's a real shame. If they knew about it, they would check it out on steam and find all the problems, wouldn't bother with the game at all, have a terrible experience and never experience the awesome game that it should be (EVEN ON PC) cause they would drop it before even beginning.

I just don't know why the pc gets such ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ports sometimes. There's so much potential. Don't port the game in the first place if it's going to be this bad. It will only damage your reputation as a developer, hindering all the greatness behind all the issues. But yeah... a real shame.

Ahhh yeah I had that issue, if you use DxWnd your have to play it in a small window tho, but then OBS can pick it up and you can play. That's the best way I've managed to get OBS to find/show it on stream.
