running jump pc keyboard problem

When I hold down shift abe runs, and while running I can make him do a running jump by pressing space. gthis however only works when he is running to the left. I can't make him do a running jump when running to the right. any suggestions? should I switch to a controller or is there a way to fix this?

I couldn't run jump with keyboard or controller. Fixed it in both cases by in-game remapping jump from space to another key (e.g. 'b') (and remapping controller to that key)

Just had the same issue and I didn't want to stop my game to remap the controls.
I found another solution (keyboard only) that works with the default mapping:
- Run using ALT+LEFT/RIGHT
- Jump by pressing 1

woah, can confirm the same bug here, default 'left shift + right arrow + space' doesn't work (pc kbd)

remapped jump to 'e', works fine
