Sound effect file extraction

So for some time i have been trying to find a particular sound effect the Slig makes when you possess him. I can only describe it as a BLURG noise haha, I’ve attempted to extract it with Psound on a PSX image. Unable to find it on there. Does anyone know of a way to explore the PC versions sound files? ive so far, not heard it in one sound pack rip online anywhere.
really want to get hold of this effect as a text tone noise if i can!

Hi, It's been 5 years, but i'm in the middle of looking for extracted files myself.

I unfortunately don't have the 'blurg' sound, i know what you're talking about. I do however have a discussion thread with links to all the original sounds (abe's voice is unfortunately pitched up, mess with sampling to fix that) and my playlist where i tried to grab all audio via gamespeak in Exodus. I hope these help.
