PS4 Controller

Please help me. I really love this game and I want to play it with a controller like I did on the PS1 but I have no idea how to get it to work.

have you tried running it through steam big picture and setting up the controller for the game? otherwise maybe you can use joy to key, and use it that way

I use DS4windows and use the controller in DS4 mode (since the DS4 and the game are both Dinput instead of Xinput)

Also you can ignore the stuff about getting fullscreen if you're already fine with that.

Are you kidding me with all of this trash just to use a standard PS4 controller? This game was on PS1 and the controls should work perfectly out of the box. Unbelievable garbage from Steam.

You probably don't need to do all that if your using the DS4 natively, however quicksave/quickload, pausing and saving (filenames) are keyboard only, and you are stuck with the analogue stick only (probably not an issue for older digital only dinput controller).

There are more issues with xbox controllers since the game was made way before microsoft standardised xbox controllers for windows.

I haven't personally confirmed myself, but it should work with the DualSense since Ryochan's build of DS4windows fully supports it now, should also work via steamconfig if it allows native dinput mode.

clic2 on game, manage, controller config, and u can create one custom layoud , and can share with friends, also u can search for already created one by users. other option is using ps1 emulator u can add nice filter etc. retroarch is very gud, theres in steam

also, in retroarch can play the this game online with one friend, i aready did and we rescued all mudukon on both ps1 abes
