Stuck at RaptureFarms(Zulag 1)

Can you guys help me? I'm stuck at Zulag 1 and i've rescued 12 mudokons in the level. I pulled the lever and headed over to Zulag 2 only to be led to a dead end. I can't go back to where I started because there is a Slig facing my direction(shadow area). Where do I go now?

where you get to the zulag 2, there are 2 of these saws. a bit to the left is a door leading to a new area. the exit is to the left, up with the lift and left where the slig sleeps.
But maybe watch some youtube videos, there are 28 mudokons in the first level.
14 visible and 14 in secret areas.
