I have redrafted the room I found this key in multiple times. No key.
Also have drafted Lost and found a few times, no key.
Do the devs or anyone know if I can even find this key again?
I have found more of the 8 special keys, and in locations I found them before I have not refound the one I lost.
would suck if this would break the game and would need a fix so you can not lose such an important item.
I know discs respawn if not used, so why not these keys?
I found a 2nd key in the same location as before. But not at the place that I lose it.
Very odd. During 1 very good house tour I got 3 keys at the same time.
I found 1... then lose that to the Lost&Found
Then I found 2 more!
The one that I lose never respawned in that location.
The 2nd key I found also never respawned.
The 3rd location did respawn the 2nd time I found it. So very odd.
Might it be possible to get multiple keys multiple times from this place?
I am just happy that my save seems fine and I can continue to find all the countries information.
God this game is amazing.
As for if you lose them, it should be back in the place where you found it. There are several of them.
I'm glad you found it.
Maybe when a Sanctum Key has been traded at the Trading Post, the game does not recognise which specific Sanctum Key it is, and instead simply records that a generic Sanctum Key has been returned from the player's inventory to the item pool. So perhaps it can then respawn in multiple locations. That's just a theory.
Interesting find, this might mean players are thinking their keys are going missing when In reality they aren't.
