Her Ladyship Quest Chain (Spoilers)

I'm looking for help to avoid wasting time waiting for the RNG to line up.

This questline basically works like this:
1. Find Her Ladyship's Bedroom
2. Find the key to her diary
3. From the notes in the diary, realise that you can potentially modify your daily starting statistics (items/walk) by calling it a day in the different bedrooms (I am here and haven't checked this)
4. One of the bedrooms apparently leads to someone placing flowers on her husband's tomb

Because of the rarity of a certain outer room I haven't been able to check step 4. Has anyone tried this? Does it lead to a clue?

I have a theory that you can influence the chance of getting a certain outer room by making it to a later rank.

If you have got the satellite dish unlocked, you can make lab experiments deliver letters to the mail room.
One of the letters mentions sleeping in different bedrooms like servants quarters.
I have not looked into it beyond that yet.

ending the day in servants quarter makes you lose 25 steps

I once ended in Her Ladyship's Chamber and started the next day with 10 less steps...

Where did you get the diary key? A hint would suffice, but i didn't see a single note that talks about it yet, and i'm like 40 hours in, deep in post games stuff

The key is on Tomb behind 2 magic candles that need to be lit

Diary tells about ending days in bedrooms.
Her Ladyship's Chamber: -10steps +1star
Servant's Quarters: -25steps +1dice
Master Bedroom: +?steps
Bunk Room: if you draft Tomb as the outside room the next day it will have a gem-flower on one of the tombs
That's all.
