Safe codes change based on your Windows date format (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
There is a safe code that references a date of Christmas which is 25th of December. If you have date format DD.MM in your system it will be 2512. If MM.DD then 1225. Just double checked it with my colleague from another country.

How players are supposed to figure that out? How do you explain this? Characters in the game world couldn't possibly live in different countries and use different date formats based on player's system, correct? What if players is playing on a laptop during the travel and switch date format? All codes just magically invalidate and change?

I'd suggest looking into the matter and fixing the date format for the game. Nobody does that. The only thing it generates is more time spent on code guessing, even if player is looking for guides online. Jfc.

Isn't this a good thing? I guess it would be annoying if you tried to preempt it, but I assume if you had that kind of foresight you'd think to try the inverse after that didn't work.

Otherwise it seems like it's just making it harder to look up the answer on the internet without actually knowing how the answer is derived.
Both formats unlock the safe so it does not matter what country you are in.
Both format unlocked the safe for me

Hm. To be honest we didn't try both formats on each PC but some online guides state that only one format will work. My apologies to the dev team if that is the case.

For me, the Study safe was EU formatted (my notes say I tested US) while the others were US. I will have to do a round of testing with both formats again to confirm.

That one works in both format for me, 1225 and 2512.

I'm in EU with DD/MM/YYYY format on windows
